Baghdad Governor has approved about the project’s designs, which will contain large and medium projects in the different sectors such as food, textile, chemicals, and minerals. This in addition to offices, warehouses and housing project for workers, as mentioned the project will be developed in five phases and will create 50,000 job opportunity.

Furthermore, the project will help in moving the new industries outside Baghdad to decrease crowdedness in the capital. The 5-kilometer project, which is expected to be completed within 7 years, will contain some major Industries that will be movies outside the city.

2. Kuwait

Project: building 11 tanks for petroleum products

Value: 218,000,000$

Client: Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC)

Kuwait has approved about construction plans, which aim to build 11 tanks for petroleum products, as a part of expending the current storage facility In Matla in northern Jahra Governorate. The project costs will reach about 66 million Kuwaiti Dinar (218 million dollars), and the number of storage tanks in the facility will increase to 18 tanks.

Kuwait National Petroleum Company has acquired land for the project, and it will start preparing for the engineering designs that have been approved by the company’s management, and tenders will be issued once approved by Kuwait Petroleum Company.

The project aims to face the increasing production of Kuwait’s refineries, and its total capacity will reach 220 million liters.

3. Saudi Arabia

Project: Qatif gynecology & obstetrics hospital

Value: 131,000,000$

Client: Ministry of Health

Construction of the 300-bed hospital project is expected to start in early December 2019, and it is supposed to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2022

The bid for the construction completion has been issued in 2018, which includes contractors who have submitted tenders for the project, such as Bin Jarallah Group, Asaad Saeed Contracting Group, Abdullah Al Sayed trading group, Al-Saghir Group for Trading and Contracting, and Rabie trading and agriculture Company.

The Bin Jarallah Group was the lowest bidder on the main contract with an amount of 120.2 million dollars. Orient Engineering Consultancy is the design consultant, and Dar Al Majd Engineering consultant is the main consultant in designing and structuring the project.

4. Jordan

Project: Sewage project

Value: 84,000,000$

Client: Balqa Governorate

The project mainly aims to increase the collection and treatment capacity of the sewage system in the north-eastern areas of Balqa, by closing the Baqa’a station and building a new one in the northeast of Balqa, with a capacity of 36,000 cubic meters per day, which can be expanded to reach 54,000 cubic meters per day.

The project also aims to produce treatment water, and provide purification process for the station to allow the production of the electricity, which will cover about 75% of the station operational requirements.

The council of ministries has also approved upon new instructions about the financial support of recitation, preaching, sermons and teaching in mosques, in order to support and motivate the mosques’ staff to serve in the field of public speaking, preaching, and guidance.
